My life is sooo hectic at the moment! I decided to do something that i’ve been dying to accomplish for some time now but never actually got around to it. This year though, I got off my behind and put in a few calls.
I’m going to be at the third edition of Earth Garden open market. For all of you who don’t know what it is, here is some information:
Basically it is one big festival in a national park here in Malta. It’s a tribal festival, which consists of 2 divisions. The first is the Open Village. This free area is created in a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of events taking place. Those attending will have a wide range of choices with visual and performing arts by established and upcoming artists. You’ll find art exhibits, sculptures, and photographic work and street drama performances which create a dynamic and colorful feast.
You can literally find anything amidst the food stalls, musicians playing all around you and the market stalls, which is where i fit in. I’m going to have my very own stall. All Funki Diva products are going to be laid out for sale and i’m going to have some friends helping out, just in case anyone who is interested in my jewellery or has been to my blog just wants a friendly chat. I’ll be available.
Also with me will be Cesc, the writer of the blog: http://cescamaranth.blogspot.com and products she sells at my shop such as tee’s and magnets will all be there aswell. Therefore if anyone is interested, just drop on by and say hello!
Second part of Earh Garden is the Greek Theater Music festival. This year they will be featuring Tribali. This will definately be music at its best.To get into this part though you have to buy a ticket in advance and the tickets are limited.
Earth garden is sponsored by Green Pak who believe in Going Green so that will definately be emphasized during the fest.
Anyway, as I said before i’m working my fingers to the bone trying to get my stall ready, website uploaded by then, getting more jewellery done and much much more. I didn’t think it would take this much work but i’m definately not regretting it. I’m loving every minute.
Some of the projects I created that will be debuting at this event are my Bling Bling rings. They are so colourful and fun. I have about 5 of them myself and can’t wait to make more. If you like what you see, just come on down. :D
